Salad Onions

If like me you dislike the harsh after taste of raw onions, this method 'cooks' the onion and is also a great base to build a salad on, trust me, it'll change your life.

Salad Onions

Makes enough for 1 salad

Vegan | Gluten-free

Gather your ingredients and add to your salad bowl:

1/2 red onion sliced

1 tsp Manuka honey or brown rice syrup

1/4 tsp Himalayan pink salt

juice of 1/2 a lemon, lime

or

1 T vinegar

Using your hands scrunch & rub it all together so the Manuka honey is incorporated. Leave to marinate while you are getting the rest of the salad together & add things to the bowl as they are ready.
